how did cats survive before they had people to unhook their claws from things?  so far today, i've:

• unhooked fred from a sweater
• unhooked angelina from the screen door
• unhooked fred from the screen door
• unhooked fred from my shirt
• unhooked fred from the bedspread
• unhooked fred from a cuphook (don't ask)
• unhooked angelina from the screen door
• unhooked fred from the couch
• unhooked fred from the screen door
• unhooked fred from the scratching post (i'm telling you, don't ask) and
• unhooked fred from the screen door.
  

.....or maybe i should just drop fred from my sample.
