he also started on the bathroom.

angelina finally started coming out today to see what exactly was going on - i guess for the most part, the work was quieter, so she figured she could risk it.

i have these light boxes around the house - there is one over the sink area in the kitchen, and then one in the dining room (they mostly show in the pictures as a wide plank, but there is translucent plastic in the bottom and light fixtures inside).  they are fascinating to the cats, but they can't get up to them - or they couldn't, until the doors came off the cabinets.  but now they can (well, they could) get up into the cabinets - and from there, into the light boxes:


angelina, as you can see, is intent on exploration...fred is more into just hanging out.


i'm afraid they are going to be terribly disappointed when the doors go on again.
