i wonder what touch means to cats

this morning, while i was lying in bed considering waking up, angelina kitten settled down on my chest - and then very gently but deliberately, laid a paw on my cheek.

it's hard not to think this means to her what it means to me...until i remember last night, when she braced one hind foot against my nose while kneading my shoulder....
