i have _got_ to get organized
Jul. 25th, 2007 04:53 pmright now, i have two knitting projects going, the tank top and a shawl with this knitalong thing. so, naturally, last night i decided that the best use of my time was to find the yarn i plan to use for the september project (august is christmas tree ornaments, and i'm just not enthused, and besides, it will probably take all august to finish the shawl).
could. not. find. it.
spent an hour, ransacked the room twice, had cats at risk of life and limb - no luck. found absolutely all the other yarn i knew i had on hand, found older projects, found projects so old i had utterly forgotten them - but not the yarn i want.
so, i'm thinking this weekend, i am _finally_ going to haul stuff out of that room and reorganize it. i think i had the yarn tied up in a plastic bag, it probably fell behind one of the stacks of boxes - and i _am_ going to find it. and get those blasted boxes cleaned out.
in the meantime, though, i'm taking a couple of days off work to go museuming.
