I'm still here!
Nov. 11th, 2010 09:56 amMan, I don't know where the last few weeks have gone....spent them knitting, probably.
It really does seem to be taking over my life. Last Saturday I did some organizing on my ...well, I guess I should call it my yarn room, that's what seems to be taking it over. It has bookshelves, and my knitting books are there, so as part of the reorg, I updated my Ravelry library....and tripled the number of books there. I did get the yarn in assorted containers and piled more or less neatly against the wall...but man. I would take pictures, but it would be embarrassing (fortunately, I did _not_ take 'before' pictures - that would be _really_ bad).
SO: next year's shawl knitting challenge: knit up everything I already have yarn and patterns for! Which should cover the 11 or 20 shawls of the challenge, I suspect.
So of course, at the moment I am considering starting a brand new shawl with brand new yarn...She-Knits Mystery KAL #6. I was really hoping to finish my 10in2010 shawl first - I'm getting really close, I think 15 or 16 rows left....but the new yarn is sooooo pretttyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. And it starts small. So I've got to check it out, right? ....right?
I do have today off as a holiday. Let's see, the plan was to clean house....yeah. So where are my #5 needles?
