The cold has not killed me

although it has certainly tried. Apparently there is a long-form cold going around, and I caught it - so have spent the last 2 weeks with a stuffed up head and a horrible cough. It is finally easing off now - went to yoga for the first time in weeks, and actually did not end up with a major coughing jag, so I was very pleased (as was the class, I'm sure - or they would have been, had they realized what they could have been subjected to).

But what with the cold, I haven't gotten much done. Despite having 2 warm sunny weekends, I have not done the pruning. I noticed the other day that the wisteria has some buds showing, so now I will probably wait until after it flowers - or, I suppose, try to get at the rose without discouraging the wisteria. Not a lot of knitting done either, despite 4 days off work - I was making great progress on Torreyana, then realized I wasn't doing the center decrease, so had to rip it all out. And now I have a batch of lovely yarn to make Earth & Sky, but I haven't done much on La Toupie, which is double-knit so definitely a cold-weather shawl....then again, not much cold weather at the moment.
