well, blech.

We seem to be in one of those unfortunate weather systems where it is beautiful and sunny all week and miserable and rainy for the weekend. So once again I am putting off pruning the Wisteria - hopefully it will again wait until February to bloom, because once the flowers appear, I can't bear to lose any of them. And it is too wet to block the shawl I finished - worsted weight yarn, so it will never dry. And I was going to try making pasta (macaroni!) - but the recipe advises against making it during rainy weather. So - blech.

To add to the fun, the cats immediately contracted cabin fever. So they alternate between squabbling over every thing (especially who gets possession of my lap) and demanding to go out to see if it is still raining, followed immediately by a demand to come in, when they discover it still is.

Plus I think I'm getting a cold.
