it keeps getting better...
Sep. 24th, 2006 04:11 pmpeople at work keep asking if i am still enjoying my convertible. and yes, i still am. in fact, i keep finding things that make me like it even more. thought of the last one last night: hats.
i like hats. and by 'hats', i don't mean the ubiquitous baseball caps (although i have a few of those) - i mean _hats_. big wide straw hats, fedoras, irish tweed caps, little crocheted juliet caps, ethnic hats, bucket hats - i love them all. and i've collected a few.
the problem is, living in suburban southern california, it's kinda hard to wear hats. if i lived back east, i could get away with hats - what with the cold weather, and the more formal style one can find, and the opportunities to take public transportation. but when you are driving a car, you really can't wear a hat.
unless you are driving a convertible. in which case, a hat is almost required.
so i have just spent some time going through my closet and digging out hats, and i intend to make use of them. so if you happen to be cruising san diego county, and see a lady in a blue mini wearing an hat, be nice. no matter _how_ goofy i look.
