day 7: all done!
Apr. 25th, 2007 10:09 pmi did the spackling, and painted a little patch to see how close the color looks when it dries, to see if i can get away with just spot-painting, or if i have to do the whole wall - which is actually not a big deal in the kitchen, there is so little wall area - more of a pain in the bathroom, but we will see.
saw a notice today that there will be a street fair this weekend, so with any luck the wall plate guy will be there, and i can get some nice new wallplates for the kitchen
i'm going to stay home again tomorrow, to do the painting, and all the cleaning and lining of shelves, and at least get started on putting things away. i kinda hate to put things back - so nice to see all that lovely open space. i'm going to do some rearranging and some more discarding, so hopefully things will be a little less crowded. i'll at least keep the counters clear till after the appliances are in, so i can get some nice pictures of the Final Finished Deal.
