but trust me, it's beautiful. well, except for the bits where everything insisted on sticking to all the wrong things. and the bits where it wouldn't stick to anything. and the few that insisted on getting wrinkles....honestly, that stuff can really be evil.
it all _ought_ to be beautiful - took me longer than anything else (i.e., taping everything to paint, painting, untaping everything, pulling out the old shelf paper, washing out the cabinets and scrubbing the floors) - to say nothing of considerably more effort, what with climbing up and down the stepladder, and crawling into deep cabinets.. i can definitely feel i've been working - at this point, i'm just hoping i will be able to get up off the couch again.
i did celebrate having water by barbequing - one _does_ get rather dirty doing that, one way and another. for all my planning, i only ended up managing to do it three times. ah well - i can experiment with the gas broiler.
so, back to work tomorrow....hm, guess i should have barbequed something extra for lunch....
