i've got my list
Jan. 10th, 2010 11:51 pmtook pictures today of my proposed shawls and yarn - visible from here (they are now in the projects list because i can't seem to add pictures to stuff in queue).
My list (as of today):
1. Every Way Wrap - started, going pretty well when I concentrate. And, you know, actually work on it, instead of any number of other things*.
2. Silk Swallowtail - this one's a little problematic, because I don't know how much yarn I have - but I want to get it done soon, because I bought the yarn to make some kind of scarf/neck decoration to go with a wool outfit I made, and I need to get it done while the weather is still suitable for wearing wool.
3. Bitterroot - I know, two small shawls in a row, but if this comes out well, I will probably donate to an auction in May (I'm not really a pink person) - so it has to be done by then. And it has beads! (or it's going to) - really want to do some more beading.
4. Icelandic (Thordis) shawl - bought the yarn 2 years ago, really, really want to get this one done.
5. Peace of My Mind - or whenever jwing wants to tackle it!
6. Lily of the Valley - another one I've been thinking about for a while
7. Colonnade - should maybe do this earlier, because it will probably be more of a warm-weather shawl...and it may not end up being this pattern.
8. Shipwreck (with many many beads) - this is really big one - can't remember how long it took me to make my other pi shawl, we'll hope i do this one faster.
9. A Feather and Fan- this is the circular one, from A Gathering of Lace - or maybe a different one from that book. Or from Victorian Lace Today. Got enough of this yarn to make a really big shawl, just depends on what I feel like tackling...and 2 pis in a row may be too much.
The last two are more problematic - so we will call them:
10A - Pineapple table shawl - I'm going to make a pineapple doily, except with Sugar'n'Cream yarn, and an appropriately-sized needle, which should give me something shawl-sized...or table-sized, which is where it will end up. My one planned crochet project!
10B - Sock yarn entrelac - looking at that mass of yarn, it may be _way_ to busy, and it will be hard for the challenge because i'll just be guessing on yardage - but i want to learn entrelac!
and if i need to substitute out....I still have this collection:

(the peach/yellow/green yarn is the leftover from W - that may end up being a quick Market shawl, at the end, if it looks like I might actually get 10 done in a year)
*like the garden. But I think I finally have all available space covered in pots - so now I can sit out there and knit, and watch for things to sprout.
