mouse_rantstoday is my last day at work before i take off for the holidays - and as you can see, i am really nose-to-the-grindstone!
i am actually all prepared - presents wrapped and mailed, fruitcake baked, tree trimmed....now there's just the waiting. and then almost 2 full weeks off work, which will be very nice.
i should show you all my tree:
fred is there for scale (like i could have stopped him from getting involved).
he's much more into the holidays than angelina seems to be. he's like that - doesn't quite get what's going on, but he's happy to help out. last year i took pictures of the two of them with the christmas dinosaur - you can kind of see the different reactions. here's fred- confused, but cooperative:
while angelina clearly feels the whole thing is just silly, and _she_ will have no part of it:
we will have to see if the presence of used wrapping paper will change her mind.
